Elia Livovich (eh-LEE-ah LIH-voh-vich) is a Northwest Indiana-based stage manager, and has been stage managing from the age of fourteen. While her style and paperwork have changed immensely from that age, she continues to thrive in the collaboration and shared joy that comes from theater.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Production Stage Management from Ball State University, graduated summa cum laude, in addition to an Honors diploma and a minor in Spanish. When not in rehearsal, she enjoys creating prints, working with flowers, hiking, and knitting in her free time.

Why "Stage Management with Kindness and Empathy"?

In theater, the late and long hours, expectations, and perfectionism can be detrimental. I believe that every person within the rehearsal room (and outside of it) deserves to be treated with kindness and empathy regardless of their background, experiences, and status. Our best work is done only when we feel supported by those around us - I will be that support whether I am the production stage manager, assistant stage manager, deck crew, or a production assistant.
